Single Family Homes - Rough and
Finish Clean Up

- Upon completion of roof sheathing, remove scrap wood from units for
electrician.
- After roofs are complete, clean interior and exterior, hauling all scrap
lumber prior to lathing inspection.
- Rat proof unit at first floor exterior mudsill plates only, if necessary.
- After electricians, sweep unit for framing inspection.
- Clean yards of all debris after lathing completed, prior to plastering.
- Dig around foundations prior to plastering
- When trim and finish carpenters are completed, sweep for prime painters.
- Sweep for enamel painters.
- Haul all construction debris after plastering is completed.
- Wash interior window glass and frames, and clean aluminum tracts and
channels. Wash tubs and shower stalls.
- After finish plumbing, electrical and hardware, sweep and haul away all
boxes and debris.
- Clean yards for finish grader.
- Wash exterior window glass and frames, and clean aluminum tracts and
channels.
- After all
trades are completely finished, prior to City, VA, FHA, or other governing
bodies'
- Inspection, dust out all cabinet drawers, shelves, ledges, etc., and wipe with
oil cloth where
appropriate.
- Clean all plumbing fixtures in bathrooms (tubs, sinks, showers, shower
doors, ceramic tile, Pullman-vanity tops, mirrors, etc.).
- Clean F.A.U. cold air return compartment, F.A.U. platform, fireplace
hearth and firebox.
- Clean all kitchen appliances (range, oven, dishwasher, etc.), all counter
and bar tops, sweep entire unit and wet mop all tile floors.
- Upon
completion of all of the above, scrape and sweep the garage and haul away any
remaining debris in the yard.
*EXCLUSIONS:
Drywall, drywall mud boxes,
concrete, concrete forms, fencing materials, landscaping debris, carpet scraps,
asphalt, dirt, rocks, trees, brush, erosion control debris, concrete washout
pits, paint containers and combustible materials. Excessive paint or silicone on
windows will not be removed. |
